TV Production Workshop with Sudbury TV

Initially, students will be taught how to operate the equipment and have time to practice. The students will then write, shoot, and edit a public service announcement or other short video that will air on Sudbury TV.

about instructor:
Matt Cranson is the Education and Outreach Coordinator for SudburyTV. He has produced countless video projects for broadcast TV and corporate clients since 1998. He has instructed filmmaking, animation and audio production at the college level, and has worked for an NBC affiliate.

Goals and Objectives
  • operate a video camera and tripod
  • frame a variety of shots
  • capture good audio
  • edit with Final Cut Pro X
  • The goal is to complete a short video that will air on SudburyTV and online.
